Not because this product doesn’t work, but how else would you really know what’s there unless you’ve checked it beforehand? I liked that it’s all one unit, and I don’t have to hold a cup under my ear for drainage. I also appreciate that water doesn’t spray all over the room. There are two things I didn’t like, but they can be easily fixed. First, it would be nice to add a small brush to clean the drainage hole, which can get clogged with wax. Second, the temperature sensor kept turning on and off because it’s located at the bottom of the clean water tank, where the water is cooler, while the warmer water rises.

As a diver, I bought this product thinking it could help keep my ears clean before diving to avoid pressure equalization issues (which are pretty common), and I must admit the result exceeded my expectations. I only tried the gentle and normal modes, and in my opinion, they’re more than enough for optimal cleaning. When I tried to remove any remaining wax with a cotton swab according to the instructions, nothing was left.

It has great pressure, and it’s nice that everything is all in one. I’ve used other ear cleaners, but they either didn’t capture debris or you had to awkwardly hold a cup under your ear while cleaning. Having everything in one handheld device is very welcome. It’s easy to use, and the battery seems to last quite a while. I charged it once and have used it about 6-7 times since without any signs of slowing down.
